The Cotswold’s (England) Spring 2016 Road Trip
The Cotswold’s region of England is one of the most enchanted and idyllic areas of England. This portion of England is one spot not to miss on a trip to the UK. Everywhere you turn are gorgeous villages that appear as out of a fairytale novel replete with stone homes, thatched roofs and wonderful village greens often with the local pub as the anchor point. I fell in love with a village named ‘Broadway. While there we experienced a multitude of larger towns such as Ludlow, Worcester, Stratford on Avon and the superlative churches and cathedrals such as the beautiful Wells and Winchester cathedrals. The Cotswold’s are full of the quintessential English Village ambiance. (Besides these noted spots, give the following a ‘google’ for more in-depth information: Upper and Lower Slaughter, Burton on the Water, Warwick, Winchcombe, Blockley, Paxford, Stanton [Ewa’s favorite], Adlestrop & Leominster)
It is hard to do the Cotswold’s justice with words so here are some photos we took while there.
